STEM Fun for Everyone
ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME
RoboKai hosts workshops for both members and non-members on a range of STEM topics, from the basics of engineering and coding to more advanced principles of robotics such as drivetrain design and CAD modeling. Upcoming workshops are listed below.

Workshops are typically 60-90 minutes long, organized by age, and held on Saturday mornings. They are focused on specific activities.

Maker Lab Workshop:
Making Combat Robot Weapons (Bellgrade)
Learn how to use Tinkercad to make custom weapons for 3D-printed combat robots in this workshop for ages 6-12. We'll show you how to use basic and advanced tools in Tinkercad such as group, align, and sketch. These skills are useful for making other fun projects in Tinkercad that can later be printed on a 3D printer.

Maker Lab Workshop:
3D Printed Holiday Ornament (Bellgrade)
Create your own 3D designed holiday ornament in this design workshop. Learn how to rotate, duplicate, and position shapes, stickers and emojis to create a unique ornament. After the workshop, RoboKai will print the ornaments and make them available for pickup the following week.

No-School Boot Camp:
Robot Battle Camp (Bellgrade)
In this boot camp, take command of a combat robot and customize its weapons and armor. After refining your design through rigorous field testing, you'll battle in a pulse-pounding mini-tournament. No prior experience is needed—just bring your engineering brain for serious bot-on-bot action!

Winter Break Camp:
Robot Battle Camp (Bellgrade)
In this week-long, half-day camp at our Bellgrade clubhouse, design a combat robot and go head-to-head all week with other campers to see who will be crowned the Battle Camp Champ in a mini tournament at the end! Borrow a house robot to customize for the week or use your Junior Club bot!

Cost: $289 (10% Discount for Members)

3D Printing Camp (Woodlake)
Turn big ideas into physical reality! In this week-long, half-day camp at our Moseley/Woodlake clubhouse, students use 3D design software to model, prototype, and print custom creations. Whether you are new to CAD or an experienced maker, you'll level up your skills and take home multiple projects.
